Questions

Assessment FAQs

Who should be at the assessment?

The person receiving care and any family members involved in decisions. Having everyone together helps us understand needs and preferences from the start.

Do you provide medical care?

We provide non-skilled, non-medical services: companion care, homemaking and medication reminders. If your loved one needs medical care, we’re happy to talk through your options.

Do I have to commit to services after the assessment?

No. The assessment is a chance to ask questions and explore your options. You decide if and when to begin care.

Can I schedule an assessment for someone else?

Yes. Many requests come from adult children, spouses, friends and healthcare professionals. Just let us know your relationship in the form.
