What is companion care?
Companion care is non-medical, in-home support focused on social and emotional well-being. It includes conversation, activities, errands, outings and help with daily routines.
Who can benefit from companion care?
Seniors who live alone, feel isolated, no longer drive, are recovering from an illness, or whose family caregivers need regular support.
Does companion care include medical care?
No. Companion care is non-medical. For medication timing, we offer separate medication reminder services that can be added to the same plan.
How often can a companion visit?
Schedules are flexible, from a few hours a week to daily visits. We set the schedule during your assessment and adjust it as needs change.
Can companion care be combined with other services?
Yes. Many clients pair companion care with homemaking or medication reminders in one personalized plan.
